I think that was an interesting meeting when somebody floated the crazy idea of a flame trench 'A WHAT?' ' a a a flame trench' 'that's how everybody else is doing it, what are you talking about?!' 'I just don't believe it is conductive to our test campaign if the blast fires away in all directions.' 'I find your lack of faith disturbing'

Those Raptors should be used for a new Land Speed record rocket car for Bonneville!!

If they can build a flame trench for the test stand ? Why didn't they do it for the OLM ?

As long as those older Raptor engines still functional, why not use them for some other rocket (if they could be retro-fitted)? Surely they could be used for research purposes. 🤔

As a Loyal fan of SpaceX, They should give me one of those obsolete Raptor engine... I have plenty of Space in the front yard!

You know that big, tall, long hallway on the outside of the starfactory next to the road? What if it became an indoor rocket garden displaying some of the old SpaceX builds? I'm thinking Hoppy may end up in an atrium in the new office building.

The tanks aren't "armored", it's soft metal, Aluminum Roll Jacketing, that fitted around the insulation for the tanks to protect against UV, water, corrosive environments, etc. I've seen this type of insulation in the construction of the tanks at the new Vogtle nuke plants.

I TOTALLY UNDERSTOOD THAT

I have few words that would give full credence to the most human that has ever existed. Forget the greatest leaders of documented history. In terms of what Elon contributes, he is a visionary with no fuckn parallel. An individual with the self created wealth to do what is needed for the betterment of all mankind...he doesn't want your thanks ..but I bet he likes them. He needs your moral support. The understanding that unless we become..multiple planet species...we are doomed. Thanks Elon. My kids and grandchildren say thankyou also.
